I have been in contact with someone here trying to place some arabians. I'm glad I turned to rescues..up until I found this board I was looking through sale sites..(horsetopia, whitehorse, etc) But didn't realize just how many are in more desperate need from rescues. Something I should have known after hearing so many times that you should always look at the pound before buying a puppy. Although, after directing my search at rescues and herd dispersals I am extremely saddened and a little frustrated by the number and quality of horses in need. Wish I had a much bigger place, a higher paying job, more time, to just adopt as many as possible...but.....If wishes were horses....
