Great article! Thank you!
Fadjur does indeed merit the title "Fabulous"!
That list of his highly successful descendants is amazing.

Wow! Stunning! And what a rear end he had! How tall was he? He looks quite tall...unless the woman standing with him is like me and makes even a pony look tall.

I was lucky enough to win a grandson of Fadjur from Heritage Hills Arabians when I was 13 yrs old. Heritage Acclaim was a wonderful all around horse that did everything from Arabian shows, 4-H, parades and rodeo queen's contest. He was amazingly good minded and very kind to all other animals and people. It is so nice to see that Fadjur is still an influence in today's show ring winners.

Arlene would it be possible to list Fadjur's complete show results from the early 1950s until whenever he stopped showing (mid 70's i believe)? i was going to go thru my magazines and try and get a list but I'm sure it won't be complete :(

The magazines won't have a complete show record. You need to look it up in the IAHA Yearbooks. I have a complete set of them but unfortunately no time right now to do such a project unless it is paid work.

If you contact the Jack Tone Ranch they might be able to help you.

No worries! I have about 5 yearbooks from the 70's...I recall that my 2000 Datasource CD only listed one win from 1963 I think? Not even his National Reserve Champ Stallion win...jeez one would think that for Fadjur at least his major wins would be listed! I know it's a big project - he was shown for over 20 years I believe?

Datasource is woefully incomplete on show records before 1986. Very few appear. Yes, Fadjur was shown for at least 20 years, off the top of my head his last halter championship was won at age 24 in 1976.
