Who said the age of miracles is passe compose'? I got a certificate in the mail yesterday, a lovely, frameable thingie that says I have made the Dean's List for the past two semesters that I have attended Kaplan University. I ALMOST PEED! WHAAAA??? OK, OK, I HAVE actually made the Honor List before, at another college, but that was in stuff that I can DO, English! This is like....MEDICAL stuff....OMIGOSH! Needless to say, I had to stare at it a while for the concept to even register! I was deathly ill (pneumonia) during the last two weeks of finals this sem. and was just going to say, "**** IT, am dying here!" SOMEHOW, someway (I'm going with the miracle/God in dah howse theory, myself!) I got a 10 page essay on the Integumentary System turned it (got an A on it) and completed a 3 & 1/2 hr. 165 question test(skidded thru w/a C, gack) and still ended up making it! NO ONE is more amazed and confused than I, trust me...but....shakes certificate in the air....HERE'S PROOF! Unbelievable!

Thanks so much, Lynn! The most ironic part of all was I had just gotten off the phone w/my academic counselor (hour and a half conv.) telling her I did not want to continue(which is still being debated in my pea brain) and was looking for another degree plan. Then, I went to my P.O. Box, and VOILA, there it was. Believe me, the irony of the timing was NOT lost on me, rofl!

SO TRUE! The timing w/the illness was SOOO bad, right at the very end of finals...GROANS! Pneumonia sucks a great deal, yes. But, praise God, I am almost back at 100%! Only took a month, ack! THANKS, ANN!
