I would ASSUME that all the horse shows have been halted, but since I haven't shown in more than 2 years and am really out of touch, does anyone know if AHA has provided any direction on this?  I went to their website last night and found no specific information on this.

Anyone know?

Ok, thank you.  If the sun would come out and stop raining, I should be using this extra time to be working w/my 3 year old!!!

I just received an email from AHA listing upcoming shows by region.

Latest from AHA is there will be no qualifications required to show at Regionals based on the numerous cancellation of shows,

Thanks Tuffyk.  I'm wondering with all the states that are now stating that if you have come from various states that they must self-quarantine for 14 days will honor this if they travel from another state to show.  I'm not so confident people will do that.

Only a complete fool would travel right now especially for a horse show unless they have a death wish.  I won't be suprised if Nationals is cancelled.

I agree.

I'm taking my 3 guys to the vet tomorrow to get their teeth floated, and other Spring stuff.  He goes to quite a few show barns as a part of his vet practice.  I will be curious what he says about the mood/ reaction of the show barns around here.

Something I found a little odd was when I called last week to see if I needed to be aware of any changes when I come to the clinic for the appointment tomorrow.  The answer was no.  Now, this might be because he owns the vet clinic, he is the only vet there and he only has 1 office person.  And, anytime when I have come to his clinic, things are scheduled where I'm arriving just as his other appointment is finishing up.  He's also in a pretty rural area.  This doesn't discount the need to be careful.  That said, there are still a number of people that are not taking this seriously.....  It just infuriates me when I see/ hear this attitude.
