Yesterday was Shars last day at the evacuation place and continued to make lemonade form lemons. She enjoys being with Pam for most of the day and when in her stall is alert and quiet except for the occasional nicker of her desire for treats, or her hello neigh when pan returns from somewhere. It was a surprise when she started calling loudly, circling her stall, and heading toward the back wall of her stall. Worriedly Pam tried to calm her but she would have none of it. At one point in between screaming neighs Pam heard a noise from the stall on the other side of the back wall. Going around to that isle way she discovered one of the two yearlings in that stall was cast against the wall. Pam immediately notified one of the volunteers there, who called for help. Almost immediately a small army of help arrived and rectified the situation. Shar went back to her normal self and Pam received the credit and thanks, but we know who was the real heroine.
