I'm Maggie, I just brought home my first Arabian this past Wednesday! It was really unexpected but I couldn't be happier! I started riding around 12 yrs old and have owned other breeds (tb's and ponies mostly), but this is my first Arabian. Renegade Spirit DCA is my new gelding, and I am simply IN LOVE with him! He has such a HUGE personality and is always in my pocket. I was a groom for a breeder/trainer 6 or 7 years ago that mainly had Spanish bloodlines, and even then I didn't learn a whole lot about them. I am looking to learn more about the breed, bloodlines, and showing.

Right now I need to get his weight up, but after that I'm not sure what to do with him  :)  He was previously shown western pleasure and halter, but I have no knowledge/experience in that area. I've mostly done H/J. I'm in Moriarty :)

Hi Maggie :D

I'm Heather, I own Rennie's sire Spirit Thyme. I'm very glad that you reached out to the Arabian community, you will find lots of knowledgeable people willing to share advice and you will see that the Arabian horse is like no other, smart, sweet & loyal, ESPECIALLY the Spirit Thyme babies !!!! They are ALL sooooo SWEET <3  Congrats & Welcome to the "Spirit Thyme Family" !!! Spirit has a Face Book page and it is mandatory that all owners of his foals share photos, stories and Brags ! LOL ;) https://www.facebook.com/SpiritThyme

Sadly, Rennie had a bit of a rough start, nearly starved to death as a yearling :( I hope that you are able to give him the Forever Home he so deserves, if ever you want to talk, get advice, info or if you have any issues, please feel free to contact me !

A photo of Rennie from the year before last...and some Baby pix ! ;) oh and Daddy too !

Hi Maggie, welcome to ABN.  Spirit Thyme produces nice babies and is a wonderful example of an Arabian himself. :-)
