Just received notice on Facebook that Shary has left us this afternoon. I've loved her art for nearly all my life and would spend hours at her booth when I was a child. Back in those early times she worked at a simple card table. Her early pencils still hang on the walls of my parent's home. I always wanted a bronze of hers, but were always just out of my reach. I recall a story that always made me chuckle. I believe it was a bronze of Fire Wind (?) that she'd done...she used to joke she'd love to put it on a skateboard and ride it down the commercial exhibit area
May God grace her with the best art studio she can imagine.
And may prayers help her family during this time of sorrow.
The attachment is of my favorite print...Azure Fantasy. It was a show program cover. 25 yrs ago I started a cross stitch of it on black cloth...maybe it's time to finish it in her honor.
