Thanks folks for the comments. i enjoy the challenge of macro shooting. I recently acquired a fisheye lens and have seen some pretty amazing images using that but seeing that one needs to pretty much be right on top of the insect to get the image a wasp probably is not the best candidate. Looking forward to giving that a try with some cooperative subjects.

This took some work.  Dragonfly in flight. these little buggers are fast flyers. 30 mph!

Wow! The dragonfly looks like a heliocopter! (Wonder which NewsTeam has bright blue for its trademark color?)
