Patrick, I like your mare and her foals. I see the first two are line bred. The colt is not. Just curious, why did you choose to outcross your mare after two nice linebred foals??

Another favorite Crabbet stallion of mine is Rissalix (Faris x Rissla)

We linebreed Rissalix here at the farm.

I own both stallions and wanted Epic to cover a proven producer with the hope of getting great motion and carriage. This colt has it in spades and is extremely typey.

Here are a few of my favorites. The chestnut is Mesaoud, then Indian Magic and then Volcano who is a blending of Skowronek and Mesaoud, kind of a modern day Indian Magic.

I included Magic Aulrab as a modern day Mesaoud (he is 80+% Crabbet) as he has multiple crosses to him and it shows in type as much as color.

Regards,
Peter

I saw this horse's picture and liked his looks. Wouldn't mind a couple of him out in my pasture.

Interesting as he is linebred to Faris and his sire Nureddin II and he sure looks similar to them, especially Faris.

I find this picture fascinating...Of course, it's only one picture. He does seem to be a bit rump high but the shoulder is nicely laid back and his neck attachement is very nice. I like the angles in the hind legs as well. He just has an 'athletic' look to him. I can picture him lifting himself up and doing a 180 turn without so much as a blink of an eye.

Mesaoud would have been on my list, but he's been shared.
Peter, Magic Aulrab is stunning. What a fine example of his heritage.
Nhraffer - he sure did take after his sire!

Here are a few more - I'm still learning so forgive if they don't fit here..
