The State Fair Arabian Show used to be held during the Texas State Fair and there were, literally, thousands of people coming to watch the classes and back to the barns to see the horses.

The Arabian show is not held in the week prior to the state fair. There are some visitors to the horses, but not as many as we used to have during the fair.

It was such fun to show our horses to a capacity crowd. Those were the good old days!

Oops. typo. The show is now held the week prior to the state fair.

When age prevents me from riding,
I will still keep horses as long as
I can shuffle along with a pail.
When I can no longer shuffle,
I will roll my wheelchair to the pasture
Fence to watch my horses graze.
