Just curious if anyone knows what percentage of foals are from "Breeding" horses as compared to "Performance" horses. If the magazines are any indication, the Halter horses are more prolific, IMO.

You're right... the halter breeders are all hoping to make the "HUGE DOLLAR" real fast on the youngster. Thank goodness for a somewhat brisk overseas business still. Too many that don't get sold, because they don't make "the grade" end up who knows where? They sure don't end up in the main ring of performance at regionals or nationals.
