This is HAA Marco Rojo, a 2003 100% Spanish gelding. I took these pics today, just wanted to share them with the forum.
Marco is a very sweet guy, curious about everything, and friendly as a puppy. He's a bold, forward-moving horse and is absolutely fearless around cattle. I think he would make a terrific endurance horse, and if I can get my creaky back healed up enough by next spring, we will try to do a limited distance ride!
Wish us luck! (I will need it, HE will do great!)

What a substantial, sturdy looking guy who can move! Hoping you recover enough for some nice, long spring rides!

OMG He looks like his daddy :) I really enjoyed Amigo when i had him here for a year. Couldn't beat his disposition. Sounds like Marco takes after him :)

I have a pic of Marco's sire, he seemed like a nice horse. Very cool that you knew him, Catz!

Marco is indeed a sweetheart, and is ultra-intelligent, though he does tend to be a little combative with other horses. He is a jealous guardian of his beloved pasture mate, OFW Carnation, and doesn't like other horses to get too close to her!
Here are two pics of him under saddle, right before he came home from getting broke to ride.

We own a 2000 SS mare that is a half sister to your gelding. HAA Camio Selena is a Gee Ibn Amigo daughter out of DG Capriole. She is a sweetheart and I see some similarities to your guy. We bred her to SS Orion, owned by the Stanleys, and she produced a tall, very athletic SS filly that we really like.
