Green Country Arabian Horse Association and the Oklahoma Dressage Society would like to invite everyone to the Tulsa Fairgrounds May 5-8, 2011. The Green Country Arabian Classic will be held May 5-8 and the Oklahoma Dressage Society I and II open dressage shows will be held May 7th and 8th.

Arabian-HA/AA Sport horse classes will be held Friday, May 6 to allow exhibitors to show in the open dressage shows May 7th and 8th. Working western day will be Thursday, May 5th. A full complement of classes will be offered at the Arabian show including Hunter hack Open and ATR. The Open dressage shows are a NAJYRC Qualifier and USEF National Young Horse Qualifier shows and are a USEF Level III Dressage Competition. Dressage judges are Debbie Riehl Rodriguez (“S” Judge) and Mary Grace Davidson (“S” – Judge).

I actually am considering making it this year! That's awesome that there is a dressage show at the same time, although I don't show dressage, is nice to see and watch.

We just realized our show will be the same weekend as the Kentucky Derby.

We're super excited about this. Always try to make it to Green Country as it is, but having dressage show at the same time makes it even better.

Some of the classes offered are Sport Horse, Sport Horse In-hand Championships Open and ATH, Hunter Hack, Halter, Working Cow, Cutting, Reined Cow Horse, Limited Reined Cow Horse (boxing only, no fence work), Junior and Limit Horse Trail, Western and Hunter Pleasure AOTS.
