Is it dish?

Large eyes?

Dry heads?

Tiny ears?

What in our industry, does this term mean?

Do you have examples?

When it looks like a seahorse, or a foal that never grew up.

I consider this mare's head exotic.

Note that she is not clipped, nor greased or anything, this was also in fall when she was fuzzy! Please pardon the background, but it was when we picked her up and we'd stopped to get gasoline and let her breathe fresh air.

She has a large eye, dishy head, short head, and pretty nice ears, though it's hard to tell with this crummy photo.

She is just under 16.0hh tall, so I think that her type is exotic, especially for her size, but want to see others versions of this term.

This is Katterli. I think she is super exotic in the face.

I also think her black son, Ebon Jamal, is exotic in the face.

Second this!! Is exactly what went through my mind when i read the post. There is/was a mare out there that demonstrated this to an extreme but i cant for the life of me remember her name. Started with an N thats all i can remember LOL.

I consider an exotic face an exaggeration of multiple features that are distinctly "Arabian" pronounced on the face. It can be a combination of tiny, tippy ears, large eyes, dish, length of head, pronounced jibbah, large nostrils... etc.

I think my mare, Moments Light, is exotic and she's an example of these attributes:

I believe you are thinking of *Namusca and for me, she's not exotic.. she's bordering on deformed :( Extreme to the max, but too much extreme can be a bad thing as well. Exotic brings to mind super fine skin, huge luminous eyes, fine flared nostrils, tippy refined ears and a look of porcelain. This guy would be an example of what I consider an exotic head
