Hi everyone, I have a purebred Davenport/CMK mare schooling 2nd level dressage (shown successfully @ 1st in open shows) who I need to place immediately! I'm moving to Germany for work soon, and no one seems interested in my horse Storm is a 14.2 hh, 14 y.o, chestnut with a flaxen mane -- very flashy. I've been asking $4500 since the end of July with no inquiries, so please if you are interested but are worried about price, contact me and make an offer. She's located in UT. I would also be willing to lease/loan her out since my job is only for 2-3 years (though you could definitely keep her longer than that if you wanted). storm_trot.jpg .

About her training: I wanted to train a horse myself, so I've done it all from the ground up. Her ground manners are impeccable, she ground ties, and even knows a few tricks (bow, Spanish walk). She's very tuned-in to people and really connects with her trainer/rider in no time. We've been working with bio-mechanical trainers the last 3 years, including Joan Bolton, Sandy Howard, and (most recently) Heather Blitz.

About her breeding: I bought her from a farm I worked on in MD. Her sire is Acropolis (Ibn Alamein x Oriole) and her dam is a Sergeant Major daughter. My horse's registered name is Sommer Storm -- I have her full pedigree up on allbreedpedigree.com (there's a link from my webpage too). Unfortunately, she is a maiden, but if you are interested in using her for breeding, I'm open to negotiating a lease/conditional sale.

UPDATE: I arrived in Germany last Saturday and Storm still needs a home. She has a negative coggins and health certificate, so she's ready to ship! Make an offer!

I would move this to the PB mare/filly section. I think you will get more views and maybe find her a great home. Lovely mare!

Why are you listing her in the "other breeds" section of this website? I assume she is registered Arabian...

She would sell if she were listed under the right heading.

Good luck finding a home for her! She's lovely. But then, I'm partial to chestnut CMKs. :)
