Just wanted to share a couple of pics of our wonderful gelding Fiero (Aztec Art ApHC X grade Appaloosa mare) who was born 23 May 1987.
Fi helped out last week at our neighbors' branding, dragging and holding 32 calves in less than two hours. Like fine wine, he just gets better with age!
Oh, I guess the roper should get a little credit too! :D That's my hubby of 30 years, also an ABN member (but RARE poster).

horse and hubby look great! however it does look like hard work out in the hot sun, so it is probably not something i myself would try! thanks for posting, it is always enjoyable to see horses out doing a good job.

Fiero is amazing. My son has an appy gelding that looks a lot like him. Heavy on the Doc, Poco, and Lena lines

He's beautiful. I love working cattle. He sure looks like a joy!
