You may wear an approved helmet or a hunt cap. Ought to be black so don't wear your cross country colors! ;-)
since show season is "off season" for hunters and during roading and cubbing season was thinking about cubbing attire and as such wondered if derby, commonly worn with brown field boots and tweeds, was legal.

A derby is allowed as are tweeds and brown boots.

Just make sure you have a copy of the rules in your pocket since you don't usually see a bowler SOMEONE (perhaps a judge and/or steward) is likely to say YOU CAN'T DO THAT.

good idea re copy of rules. Just for hoots and giggles thought we would be authentic to field tack and attire.Sounds elegant.

wonder how the wire cutters, field knife, and flask of Makers Mark will go over :-)

Done-the first will be the Missouri Arabian Spring show in March so he'll even still have his field trace clip, LOL
