This is our newest mare, Sheer Ecstacy, a true black Sundance Kid V daughter. She is VERY sweet and absolutely stunning, she will be starting under saddle training next month.

Aloha yet again!

Thanks for sharing these wonderful and absolutely stunning pics of your blacks.

Like someone stated, I don't remember seeing the black stallion movie until I was/am old but yep, it clinched it for me too...love the blacks. Even on the ranch...my eyes always gravitate to the black horses. So majestic!

Beautiful pics...simply, unequivocably BLACK IS BEST! Hope I'm not gushing....LOL

WOW!!! Now I REALLY kick myself in the butt for not trading horses when I had the chance on this mare. But the pictures I saw never did her justice!!! GREAT mare!!!!

I'll add some new photos of my blacks. (BTW, several are available). All photos are ala natural. Click on the images to see them full size.

Sandstone, love all the pics but that 1st one is like his saying: "Wat you talking about..." So cute. Does he have any other white besides the star or diamond...can't see it well...

Shah: no other white except the face markings. None of my black horses have any other white markings other than a star. There is not one stocking to be found anywhere. My black mare Kristina has no markings at all, not a white hair on her.

I have a half-arab mare that I adopted in April that is black and has one rear stocking. She is not related to any of my stock.

I owned two, black, straight stallions at present.
Al Dalim (Ali Nefous x Anaza Dalima) and Ibn Birak (Thee Deseperado x Minstrilspricella) They are both well manned and their foals have great dispositions. I find them a little more "hyper" than my Babson/Halima bred stallion I owned before.
I have been breeding straights for 20 years and have owned Babson/ Halima bred horses. These guys are my first with other breeding.
My mares are still Babson/Halima mares and are very easy to deal with.
