On Sunday I purchased my new gelding, Aria Acclaim (Cal) from the MSU sale. He is a 2006 gray gelding standing about 15 hands. Really solid and still growing. I love him more and more every time I see him move. He has a good head, not extreme, a little long, but a good shape, and excellent tail carriage. Not to mention his conformation, he is built to be a really powerful mover. I intend to use him for dressage and sport horse mainly. I will halter him this year, he is a really showy horse on the ground, and really poofs up like no other.

He is bred by Janow Podlaski, is sired by Ekstern and out of *Amba (Eukaliptus x Albigowa). This is him: http://www.allbreedp...om/aria acclaim Any Polish experts care to comment on his breeding, performance and temperament-wise? He is very sweet, but does get nervous, he is apparently less wired under saddle.

Here are a few pictures, they aren't all that flattering, and nothing from a good camera, but I'd love to know what everyone thinks of him, and what he'd do best.

Thanks! Yeah, he was very interested in the particular barrel. He would rock it back and forth but wouldn't let it fall down smile.gif

I actually haven't seen many of his offspring, even pictures. If anyone has pictures of them, I'd love to see! Can someone check out if he has other siblings out of *Amba? My Datasource expired in March.

Congratulations on your beautiful boy! It's always great to find updates on what happened to the Polish horses after they have been exported.

While I can't help you with any pics of Amba's other offspring, here a couple of pics I took of Ekstern last year. He's one really gorgeous horse! Very showy and full of himself. Hopefully, your boy has inherited some of that. wink.gif

darkangel already posted 2 names, but there's another sibling listed in the Polish database:
2007 - Aria Accolade (US), stallion by El Nabila B (HU)

BTW... There are also two full sisters in blood in Poland (out of Amba's full sisters Altona). I don't want to commit copyright infringement, so I won't add pictures of those fillies here directly on the board, but check out those links:

Thanks a bunch, and those pictures of Ekstern are fantastic! He is definitely a show horse, although he has had no halter training, I put my show halter on him just to play around. He just instantly poofed up, and got all prancy. You'd think he was a stallion :p
