Hello Cazdan,
Welcome on the forum. Your website is really very nice.
Sorry for my ignorance :bigemo_harabe_net-122: , but I need some education from one of you. Tell me please, what CMK means?

"The horse, who is too precious and too beautiful to be ridden, is neither precious nor beautiful. It's simply called an impaired horse by merciful Allah."

CMK Stands for Crabbet Maynesboro Kellogg. Basically, the names of some of the original breeders of these lines. Most of them were from English bloodlines, but all went back to the desert, of course,if you look back far enough. Some great stuff, that CMK!

Thank you for the quick answer. I really appreciate it. I'm going to learn more about these lines. These CMK: great horses! I love the pictures, so many beautiful horses to remember.

Heather, he is beautiful. I don't think anyone could accuse him of NOT engaging behind, eh? I so see him doing dressage, or even more apt for working western, though to me they are both so closely related in physical requirements and movements. You GO, with your lovely boy!

cazdan - is the top photo of your stallion? Whomever he is, he is a beauty. Again, I see a ww horse (can you tell I like working western, lol) but I suppose he might jump or do dressage, too, any of the above. The very first Arabians I ever saw in my life were all CMK. One was a son of *Electric Storm named Dark Storm. Another was an exquisite chestnut, broad blaze, high white, LOOOONNNNGGGGGG mane/tail, cannot for the life of me recall his name, but he was all CMK. Those two stallions would perenially be the only two entries in the TN State Fair Arab Stallions class, they were truly breathtaking! Good luck w/your boy and the others!

P.S. To you both, ALL of my Polish cross mares are CMK crosses, LOVE IT!!

Thanks! I've bragged on him before--he's just the sweetest horse. Like a big puppy dog. He's one that will leave his food to come over and get love.

He's 5 this year and we just got started on riding him. Hubby wants to do reining with him. Have to find a good trainer and get some money together :(
