Well today we had a few firsts .. the day he bucked me off was the first time he was lunged with another horse being ridden in the ring ...

Today
- was his first time being lunged while another horse was being lunged ... my 3yr old AY-rab was better behaved than the older, multi champion QH.

Well seems like the light bulb clicked today.
Yesterday turning and circling was good but he was a typical green horse in the sense that he wouldn't walk straight lines, make a proper circle or turn quite as quickly. today .. Simple Progress

Day four under saddle and he was very good. really doing well on turning and walking forward and his stops are getting quite a bit better... especially the one rein ones.

Today mounting was easier, my sister-in-law/trainer held him and walked him forward a few steps and we were good to go ... It really seems that getting those first few stride in makes...

Why can't people do their jobs? I sent my horse for 60 days of under saddle training and he came home with one week under saddle (partially my fault for not being more vocal) .. and all but one ride wasn't a real ride, he was led around a few times with someone on his back ...

Well Khon got clipped today and he stood lie such a good boy. He just got half his neck, chest and just behind the girth area done, but he didn't even flinch. Easy Day

We had another easy day today .. Khon was SOOOO muddy that I couldn't get it all off of him and the last thing I need is him to asociate the saddle with any kind of pain ... so I just lunged him today ... plus I did new exersizes in PT so I was sore.
